The previous assignment asked you to write a paragraph about your family Holiday traditions. This assignment will continue the Holiday tradition theme, but this time you will need to ask a non-family member (neighbor, teacher, coach, friend, etc) to share his/her traditions with you and then write about them. So basically you will be a reporter, interviewing someone who is NOT in your family, and writing a short paragraph about the information he or she shares. Remember that as a reporter you will need to let your readers know who you interviewed and the important facts you discovered. Remember that it is important to be both accurate with the information you will share, but you should also be creative in your presentation. Use descriptive words!
Hint- I would recommend that you take notes when interviewing your non-family member about his/her Holiday traditions and then take those notes to create a rough draft of your essay. Proof read your rough draft, making all of the necessary corrections and checking for spelling errors before posting the essay in the discussion area on your group page.
